Student Data and Student File
Nederlands Taal Onderwijs does not store anything publicly. For student lesson progress, materials, and learning activities, we may use Google Classroom, NUMO.nl, Junior Einstein (junioreinstein.nl), or Google Workspace. For these platforms, we refer to their respective privacy policies.
The student's first and last name, email address, and address information are requested for the online lessons. This information is needed for billing and sending progress reports. Students (their parents) always have the right to see and have their data changed or deleted.
Inspection and right to modify and delete: the administrator of this website can't alter or delete the information collected by Google Analytics and the plugins used. Also, the retrieval of the information recorded about an individual user is limited to the reports made available by those companies.
Protection Devices and Data Carriers
Nederlands Taal Onderwijs uses fixed computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. These are all password or code-protected. If these devices are not used, third parties cannot access the data on them since they do not have the password or code. When not in use, the laptop is closed, and the tablet and smartphone are off. No privacy-sensitive data is placed on USB sticks and CD-Roms.
Recordings
Classes and students are not recorded. Should we need a recording for internal training or other use, we will always seek your permission as a parent and the student's permission first. The recording will not be used for any other purpose and, if for internal use, will not be available to third parties.
Recording the class and teacher by the student or a parent or anonymously following a class without notice is prohibited.
Received email will be kept for 7 years following the business retention requirement.
Quotes and invoices: Nederlands Taal Onderwijs uses standard software to compile and record quotes and invoices. These data are kept for 7 years by the tax retention obligation.
